How to measure for us
A few sizes and a photo are enough for a first price. Here is what to measure.
Gate
- 01Measure the gap between the two pillars, at the bottom and at the top.
- 02Measure the height you want, from the floor.
- 03Note if the ground slopes, and whether the gate swings or slides.
- 04Send us a photo of the place with the tape in it.
Window grill
- 01Measure the window opening inside the frame — width and height.
- 02Tell us if the grill goes inside or outside the window.
- 03Count the windows of each size.
- 04Send a photo of each window.
Roof or shed
- 01Measure the length and the width of the area to cover.
- 02Note how high the roof should be from the floor.
- 03Tell us which side the rain should run off.
- 04Send photos from two corners.
Staircase
- 01Measure the height from one floor to the next.
